On the way to your dental appointment

Thank you for choosing our clinic.

Reading the following information carefully before coming to your first appointment will make your first appointment more productive.

What to Know on Your First Date

When was the last time you visited a dentist and why? If you have any X-rays taken during this visit, please bring them with you.

You must tell us if you have any systemic diseases (such as heart disease, blood pressure, goiter, diabetes) and any medications you take regularly (such as aspirin).
Please bring the names and phone numbers of your doctors who deal with these diseases.

Tell us if you have any special conditions such as pregnancy.

If you have a toothache

  • When did the pain occur and how long did it last?
  • What external factors (cold, heat, sweets, pressure) cause the pain to return?
  • Has swelling appeared on your face?
  • Have you taken any medication? Are you taking any?
  • Please write down the names of the medicines and let us know.
  • What are your expectations from us? If you have special requests for aesthetic purposes, please write them down on a piece of paper and let us know.

Our clinic is a private clinic and its name is Dokuz Eylül Dental and Oral Health Polyclinic. We are not affiliated with Dokuz Eylul Dental Hospital, a state institution.

Appointment Information

We know that everyone’s time is valuable. For this reason, we provide service by appointment. Arriving 5-10 minutes before your appointment will help us to ensure that there is no disruption in that day’s program. If you are late for an appointment due to unavoidable reasons, a shorter treatment will be preferred in the allocated time. If the remaining time is not sufficient to complete any of your treatments, you will be given an appointment for another day. If you cannot keep an appointment, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance.

Working Hours

Our clinic is open between 09.00-20.00 on weekdays and between 09.00-16.00 on Saturdays. However, there is a doctor on duty between 16.00-20.00 on Saturdays.

Our Little Guests

In children, it is important for us that the treatment is approved by the parents. Apart from the consultations, we prefer the parents to rest in the waiting room during the treatment in order to increase the child’s compliance with the dental treatment. Morning hours are more suitable for dental treatment in young children.

Sterilization System

Due to the intraoral working area of dentistry and the nature of the procedures performed in this environment, sterilization rules must be applied completely. In our clinic, all hand tools and treatment instruments are sterilized after disinfection in ultrasonic cleaners. Non-sterilizable products such as gloves, masks, glasses, patient gowns are disposable and are discarded after being used on only one patient. Our medical awareness and humanitarian responsibility have made it our principle to comply with all sterilization rules as if we were sitting in that chair ourselves, to keep our patients away from possible infection risks and to provide health services in a safe environment. We think of everything for you down to the finest detail. To be worthy of the trust you have placed in us.

Periodic Controls

We share your desire to reduce extensive dental treatment and tooth loss. This is only possible with regular check-ups where problems can be detected before they grow. At the end of your treatment, you will be reminded of your check-up appointments at 6-month intervals. At these appointments, the treatments will be checked and it will be determined whether there are any problems with your other teeth. Our aim is to carry out your dental treatments in a timely and pleasant manner. We are always ready to listen to your complaints and suggestions in order to provide you with a better service.
